Are the home care workers allowed to drive me to and from appointments or to run errands?
No. Under no circumstances can a home care worker drive you in your car or in theirs. The simplest and safest way for a home care worker to assist you with appointments or errands is for you to utilize paratransit if its available in your area or have the home care worker accompany you by cab.
